GARDEN SERVICES

THE FLOWER UNION have been designing beautiful gardens since 2018. 

We use our many years of design private, commercial and community gardens.

We charge an initial fee of £1500 for a consultation, site visit & survey, hand drawn high level garden design, planting plan and staged 'to do' list. 

Thereafter all work is charged as per our fixed rates below. 

THE FLOWER UNION are based in Hambleden, RG9 6RT and have been caring for maintaining beautiful gardens (large and small) in and around Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire since 2016. 

We believe very strongly that everyone should have a garden that brings them joy and enhances their well-being, whether that is a neat and tidy courtyard or an overflowing estate. 

We specialise in horticulturally healthy and visually beautiful gardens. We aim to create structure and style by optimising herbaceous borders, nurturing organic vegetable gardens and creating cutting gardens for year round produce. 

We make our own Biodynamic plant-based, chemical free, pet & wildlife friendly feeds, fungicides & pest deterrents and encourage clients to embrace a regenerative approach to their gardens, making the most of composting, bokashi bins and wormeries and adopting the principles of permaculture where possible.

We also have a lot of experience mowing lawns, pruning small trees, leaf blowing and hedge trimming. 

We are fully insured, use our own battery operated mowers and battery operated or electric power tools and have a selection of ladders and scaffolding towers and safety equipment to enable us to do most jobs. 

We are also happy to remove and recycle garden waste if required.

  Fixed fees* ;

• All garden design work & plant recommendations - £45* / hr
• Head Gardener (RHS level 3 or above qualified) - £35* / hr
• Ad hoc garden care, maintenance and clearance work - £30* / hr
• Regular garden maintenance work - £25* / hr (minimum booking 1 person for 4 hours every fortnight).

We offer a 5% discount for year round contract clients paying in advance by standing order.

• Hire of scaffolding tower & safety equipment - £25* 
• Use of battery operated mower  - £10* 
• Use of individual power tool (strimmer, blower, washer, hedge trimmer) - £5*
• Waste removal - £25* plus £1 per mile from location to nearest recycling centre
